
Michael Warren, who graduated Westside in 1985, has built a career in financial services, international business, and government policy. He is the Chief Executive of the Albright Stonebridge Group, a global strategic advisory firm. IN 2010 he was appointed by President Obama to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Overseas Private Investment Corporation. During the first term of the Obama Administration, he served as Senior Advisor in the White House Presidential Personnel Office. He was also a member of the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition as co-lead for the Treasury and Federal Reserve agency review teams. During the Clinton Administration, Warren served in the White House as Executive Director of the National Economic Council and at the U.S. Department of Labor in the Office of the Secretary. While at WLHS, he was a member of student council, debate, National Honor Society, and was a member of basketball, track and cross country teams. He is the current record holder in the 400m at WLHS. Warren graduated from Yale University and from Balliol College, University of Oxford, where he was a Rhodes Scholar.
